Sidewalks on Webster Avenue have been replaced with porous pavement as part of a city grant-funded project.

I purposely made an exception to get some reaction from the Stefanik camp to the news that Cobb seeks a potential rematch. I also think his remarks were illustrative of how the Stefanik campaign was run.

It is school budget season and we are writing about the spending plans. I covered the Fort Edward school board meeting to learn about their shared services study and they also adopted the budget. I wrote stories based upon the meeting and the materials handed out.

Retention in the past has been a problem. Officers seem to leave to go to the Warren County Sheriff's Office or State Police. This recent group has stuck around - for now.

Most of the superintendents in the 31-district BOCES were at this breakfast meeting, and members of school boards as well.
