Amber Bourdeau of South Glens Falls and Jess Vidal of Salem earned first-team honors on the all-state softball team announced on Sunday.
Vidal, the Adirondack League's MVP, helped lead Salem to its first league title and was named first-team all-state in Class D as a shortstop. Bourdeau, who helped South High claim its 17th straight Foothills Council title, was named to the Class A first team as a pitcher.
Fort Ann, which made the state final four for the sixth straight year, placed three players on the Class D all-state team. Kayla Bailey made the second team, Allison Vrooman was named to the third team and Taylor Foran earned fourth-team honors.
Kyndra Riche of Salem also made the fourth team in Class D.
In Class C, Greenwich's Rachel Hall earned second-team honors and Sabrina Whitehouse made the fifth team. Haleigh Wright of Ticonderoga made the second team while teammate Carly Campney was on the fourth team. Lake George teammates Rebecca Jeager and Tyler Bergman got third-team honors.
Lauren Kelleher of Schuylerville was named to the third team in Class B. Maddy Capozucca of South High earned fourth-team honors in Class A.
The all-state team was selected by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization for Girls Sports.
