SARATOGA SPRINGS — The 2019 horse racing season is almost here.
Seasons tickets are on sale now for the clubhouse and grandstand sections at the historic race course with large group reservations for the new three-story 1863 Club starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The 36,000 square-foot climate-controlled building on the clubhouse turn offers space for 500 guests on the main floor with event space on the second floor for up to 100 guests and luxury suites on third floor for 30 to 45 guests.
The 1863 Club is named in honor of the year of the first organized thoroughbred race meeting in Saratoga, which took place over the course of four days in August 1863.
The 40-day meet will begin on Thursday, July 11 and run through Labor Day. Racing will held Wednesdays through Sundays with the exception for the final day of racing.
To purchase tickets for the 40-day meet visit nyra.com/saratoga and to make a reservation contact the NYRA box office by phone at (844) NYRA-TIX.
Reservations for partial-space rentals and parties with fewer than 100 guests will be accepted beginning March 28 at 10 a.m. with an eight-guest minimum.
