The 2018-19 school year is about to wrap up, and with it, we're wrapping up our coverage of high school sports with a look back at a year filled with state championships, individual records and outstanding team accomplishments.

For the second year in a row, we were amazed by the continued record scoring pace of Joseph Girard III, and the Glens Falls boys basketball team's storybook ending, winning the state and Federation championships, the latter back home in Cool Insuring Arena. We watched as Girard picked his college — Syracuse University — in that same arena a few months earlier. We saw state championships won by the Glens Falls football team, Cambridge girls basketball, and, on the same afternoon, Whitehall and Ticonderoga baseball. That's just a few of the highlights from a banner year.

Check out our montage of some of the biggest stories from the 2018-19 scholastic sports season.
