GLENS FALLS — The Adirondack Thunder signed their first goalie to the 2018-2019 roster on Wednesday, inking Colton Phinney to a contract.
Phinney, 25, comes to the Thunder having spent the majority of last season with the Jacksonville IceMen. In 21 games, the 6-foot-1 Phinney posted a 3.25 goals against average and had a .886 save percentage. He also appeared in one game each for the Indy Fuel and the AHL's Manitoba Moose.
Prior to turning pro, Phinney played four seasons at Princeton University.
