The Adirondack Thunder released their list of protected players on Tuesday. That means no one but the Thunder can negotiate with these players before July 1.
Additionally, the league announced that the season-ending roster, of up to 20 players, for the 2014-15 season must be finalized by 3 p.m. June 15. Future considerations trades must be complete by 3 p.m. June 13.
To be eligible for the protected list players must fulfill at least one of these requirements:
| Signed a standard player's contract (SPC) in 2014-15 with Stockton, and has not been traded or released
| Signed a SPC in 2014-15, and was recalled to the NHL/AHL or IIHF team, and has not been traded or released
| Had received a qualifying offer last summer for the current Season, did not sign an SPC, and has not been traded or released, OR
| Has been suspended by Stockton or the ECHL, and has not been traded or released

| Signed an SPC on or after the first day of the 2014-15 Regular Season, then subsequently signed an NHL/AHL contract, and has not been traded or released
| Has executed the ECHL Retirement Form, and has not been traded or released.
