GLENS FALLS | The Adirondack Thunder issued eight qualifying offers to players who finished the season with the Stockton Thunder on Wednesday.

Six of the eight went to forwards, including four of the Thunder’s five leading scorers.

Tyler Maxwell led the Thunder with 24 goals and totaled 51 points in 63 games. James Henry, the only player to play all 72 games, was second on the team with 33 assists.

Vincent Scarscella, who was traded midseason, totaled 15 goals and 33 assists on the season with 68 games between the Thunder and Utah Grizzlies.

Jack MacLellan had 12 goals and 26 assists in 41 games. Klarc Wilson scored six points and racked up 172 penalty minutes, second on the team. Carter Rigby tallied three assists in four games after finishing his WHL season with the Kelowna Rockets (Adirondack Flames coach Ryan Huska’s old team).

Defenseman Brad Stebner had 16 assists and 18 points in 58 games and finished the season with a minus-18 rating.

Goalie Lucas Gore allowed an average of 4.37 goals and had a save percentage of .875 in seven games after finishing his career at the University of Regina.

The eight qualifying offers were the maximum allowed by the ECHL.

All qualifying offers remain open until Aug. 1. This gives the Thunder one week to match any offer extended to any of these eight players.
