CORINTH — Alec Richards earned Most Outstanding Wrestler honors Saturday and joined four other Corinth wrestlers as champions of the Marty Sherman Invitational.

The Tomahawks finished their own tournament with 165 1/2 team points, good for second behind Catskill, which had 188. Queensbury placed third with 152, Hudson Falls (130 1/2) was fifth and Glens Falls (48) took eighth.

Richards won at 120 pounds. Corinth also crowned Curtis Rigley (126), Sam Tromblee (132), Conor Eversole (138) and Nate Warrington (170) as champs. Hudson Falls' Chris Petteys (99) and Queensbury's Kaiden LaLuna (106) also won titles.

Local second-place finishers included Queensbury's Kyle Miller (126) and Gaven Wasson (138), and Hudson Falls' Jason Blackman (145), Joe Pomainville (152) and Dametrick LaRock (170).
