The South Glens Falls and Greenwich girls indoor track teams won the Foothills Council and Wasaren League titles, respectively, at the University at Albany on Sunday.
The Bulldogs scored 125 points to top runner-up Amsterdam, with 99. Hudson Falls was fourth and Schuylerville was sixth.
In the Foothills boys meet, Hudson Falls was fourth, South High was fifth and Schuylerville was seventh.
Local winning athletes in the Foothills meet included Schuylerville’s Sunni LaBounty in the girls 1500 (5:19.88), South High’s Kionah Thomas in the girls high jump (4-10), South High’s Lea Richard in the girls shot put (32-5 1/2) and weight throw (38-7 1/4) and Hudson Falls’ Jaylen Pritchett in the boys 55 (6.93).
In the Wasaren meet, the Greenwich girls cruised to 181 points. Cambridge was fifth, Whitehall was sixth and Granville was ninth. In the boys meet, Greenwich placed third, Granville was sixth, Cambridge was eighth and Whitehall was ninth.
Brynne Wright and Lucia D’Acchille were double-individual winners for the Witches. Wright captured the girls 1000 (3:16.53) and 1500 (5:07.06), while D’Acchille won the girls 55 hurdles (8.78) and triple jump (33-2).
Other Greenwich girls winners were Quinn Collins in the 300 (44.50), Nina Sgambelluri in the 600 (1:48.57), Teagan Wright in the 3000 (11:21.29), the 800 relay team of Antonia Levitar, Quinn Collins, Keegan Collins and Ava Hamilton (1:59.50), the 1600 relay team of Emily Skiff, Sgambelluri, Brynne Wright and Quinn Collins (4:26.13) and the 3200 relay team of Skiff, Annabel Gregg, Brooke Wright and Emma Cronin (10:43.50).
In the Wasaren boys meet, Greenwich’s Peyton Howard was a double winner, taking the 1000 (2:54.30) and 1600 (4:44.25).
Granville’s Owen Burnham won the 600 (1:32.99), and Greenwich’s 800 relay team of Chris Albrecht, Matt Smith, Bill Bink and Connor Smith also won (1:44.13).
