QUEENSBURY — Corinth was down four runs in the first inning to Adirondack League softball rival Warrensburg on Monday inside the Adirondack Sports Complex.

Then the Tomahawks’ bats started heating up.

Corinth tied the game with four first-inning runs of its own before pouring it on with an eight-run third inning.

Six homers later, the Tomahawks had beaten Warrensburg 18-9. Corinth improved to a perfect 4-0 in the league and 7-0 overall.

Chesnie York was the winning pitcher. She improved to 6-0 on the season.

York also got it done with her bat, leading the way with two homers and three RBIs to go along with her 14 strikeouts.

Mya Manning and Alexa Abbatontouno also hit home runs. Manning added four RBIs and Abbatontouno also had a double.

Warrensburg fell to 1-3 overall.
