Batavia touchdown — Leach 28 pass from Biscaro (kick failed), 9:11

How Batavia scored: Ray Leach ran four times to the Glens Falls 21, then after a holding call, Leach turned a screen pass from Ethan Biscaro into a touchdown. Batavia, 6-0.

Batavia touchdown — Iburi-Bethel 46 pass from Leach (Leach run), 3:30

Drive: 8 plays, 74 yards

How Batavia scored: Mixing runs by Leach with passes to Taiyo Iburi-Bethel, the Blue Devils reached Glens Falls territory. However, Biscaro went down with a knee injury on a non-contact play at the Indians’ 46. Leach took over at quarterback and on the next play, lofted a pass that was tipped into the hands of Iburi-Bethel for the touchdown. Batavia, 14-0.

How Glens Falls scored: Three plays after Joseph Girard III intercepted a pass by Leach at the Glens Falls 7, Girard found David Barclay for a 60-yard pass into Batavia territory. Two runs by Aalijah Sampson put the ball on the Blue Devils 4. On third and goal, Girard ran first right, then all the way back left for the touchdown. Batavia, 14-6.

How Glens Falls scored: Girard did most of the damage, connecting on a couple of passes, then breaking loose for a 43-yard run before being ruled out of bounds at the Batavia 1-yard line. Sampson scored on the next play. Tie, 14-14.

How Batavia scored: After being stuffed for a 3-yard loss after a botched handoff on first down, Leach rumbled down the left sideline for a touchdown. Batavia, 20-14.

How Glens Falls scored: After Hogan Fox recovered the onsides kickoff at midfield, Girard hit Sampson for a 39-yard gain to the Batavia 12. Sampson ran three more times to get into the end zone. Sam Hogan’s extra point gave the Indians the lead. Glens Falls, 21-20.

How Glens Falls scored: After taking a sack at his own 30, Girard found his cousin Trent Girard for a 63-yard pass play to the Batavia 7. Three plays later, Joseph Girard scrambled right and dodged two defenders to duck into the end zone at the pylon. Glens Falls, 35-20.

How Glens Falls scored: Sampson opened with an 11-yard run to midfield, but after a loss and an incompletion, Joseph Girard found Trent Girard again down the left side for a long touchdown pass. Glens Falls, 42-20.
