CAMPO MORO, Italy — Glens Falls native Megan Guarnier took another fourth-place finish Thursday in the Giro Rosa professional women's bicycle race. In the stage-seven, 9.3-mile individual time trial, she had a time of 49 minutes, 23 seconds.
"I am happy with how I rode today," Guarnier said in a Boels-Dolman Cycling Team release. "I gave it everything and that's all you can ask for in a time trial. After losing that minute due to the crash in the final of stage two, my main objective is to keep positive and not get caught up in what has passed."
Guarnier moved to sixth place overall entering stage 8, 4:33 behind leader Annemiek van Vleuten.
