July 14: The Fort Edward High School Alumni Association will hold its 17th annual golf tournament at Kingsbury National Golf Course. The tournament supports the alumni scholarship fund. Registration is at 8 a.m. for a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The cost is $70 per person, which includes cart, soda and food at the turn. July 14: The annual J. Peter Martin Whiteface Open Golf Championship will be held at the Whiteface Club and Resort in Lake Placid. It features individual stroke play for men and women of all ages. For more information, call 518-523-7888.

July 14: An Alzheimer’s charity golf classic will be held at Bay Meadows/Bogies at 9 a.m. It will be a nine-hole, four-person scramble. The cost to enter is $50 which includes cart, food and a donation to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. There is also a $20 option for non-golfers which includes food, entertainment and the donation. There will be live music. July 21: The Nipper Knolls Equine Center Benefit Odd-Hole Tournament will be held at Airway Meadows Golf Course with a 2:15 p.m. check-in, followed by a shotgun start. Aug. 4: The ninth annual Benjamin G Round Golf Tournament will be held at Cronin’s Golf Resort at 11 a.m. The event benefits the scholarship fund for two graduating seniors at Warrensburg High School. Registration will be held 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $90 per golfer if registered before July 15; $100 after that ($65 for Cronin’s members) and includes cart, hot dogs and beverages on the course and dinner afterward. Aug. 4: Airway Meadows Golf Course will host an Adult with Junior Scramble. Check-in is at 12:30 p.m., followed by consecutive tee times starting at 1:04 p.m. Cost for juniors ages 13 and younger (9 holes) is $83 per twosome. Cost for 14 and older (18 holes) is $113 per twosome. Juniors 13 and younger may choose to play 18 holes. Twosomes must register by July 31. To register, call the pro shop at 518-792-4144.

Aug. 12: St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church will hold its 14th annual golf tournament at Cronin’s Golf Resort. The $95 fee per person includes cart, lunch and dinner. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. followed by lunch and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The format is a four-person scramble. Individuals are welcome and will be placed with a team. Aug. 27: The Adirondack Architectural Heritage annual golf tournament is scheduled for the Lake Placid Club. The four-person scramble format includes three divisions — men’s, women’s and mixed. Sept. 15: The annual Community Scholarship Association, Inc. (formerly Corinth Dollars for Scholars) tournament will be held at Brookhaven Golf Course with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. A putting contest will be held prior to tee off. The fee is $85 per player ($80 if paid prior to Sept. 7). Refreshments on the turn and dinner are included.
