Glens Falls' Jimmer Fredette delivered a clutch performance Wednesday to help the Shanghai Sharks into the Chinese Basketball Association playoffs with the last spot.

Fredette led the Sharks to a 124-89 win over Fujian on the final day of the regular season. He scored a team-high 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field, including 7 of 11 on 3-pointers. He also had six rebounds and four assists in his three quarters played.

His seven 3-pointers set the CBA record with 219 this season. His four assists gave him a team-record 233. He also had previously set the team record for steals in a season with 112.

Fredette averaged a league-best 36.9 points per game. He shot 53 percent on two-pointers, 42.4 percent on 3-pointers and 91.7 percent on foul shots. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.6 steals.

Shanghai will play the fifth-seeded Beijing Ducks in the first round, starting Saturday.
