Glens Falls Dragons

AMSTERDAM — Four Amsterdam pitchers held Glens Falls to two hits, sending the Dragons to an 8-0 loss and leaving them 0-23 on the road this season.

Joe LaSorsa started for Amsterdam and got the win with five innings of two-hit ball. Three other pitchers held the Dragons hitless over the final four innings.

Jake Mueller broke the game open with a two-run single in the seventh inning and Dalton Skelton hit a three-run homer in the eighth for Amsterdam. The Mohawks, who stretched their shutout streak to 19 innings, improved to 32-12 and solidified their hold on first place in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League’s East Division.

The Dragons fell to 15-30.
