Paradox Brewery is an independent craft brewery founded in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains brewing innovative beer of the highest quality.
Our roots trace 30 years back to when our president and founder, Paul Mrocka, fell in love with beer and brewing in Germany while stationed as an army pilot.
After a few decades of brewing for friends and family, Paul's beer became fairly well known in and around Paradox Lake. Those lucky enough to know where on the lake to go, could get in their boats and go grab a beer with Paul. At this time, he was was brewing 200 gallons per year in order to keep up with the demand for his tasty (and free) lake beer.
The foundation of our beer is within the water we use which can only be found in the granite 600 feet below the Adirondack Park. Water that is so pure, it needs no filtering or treatment before we brew it with the best malts and hops we can find. We combine these ingredients with our passion for great beer and the result is “Pure Adirondack.”
This 25,000 square foot brewery can produce 50,000 barrels a year using state of the art GEA Craft-Star systems along with a Westfalia centrifuge and a CFT Mfg canning line.
Stop by and enjoy a great casual lunch or dinner in our upstairs dining area, or you can enjoy a more formal dining experience in our downstairs dining area, or stop by for a drink and enjoy amazing views or fireworks or enjoy live music right out on the largest public boathouse deck on the entire lake!
