Being the best town supervisor is a boring job, and John Strough is living proof. To be the best, you have to spend a lot of time in meetings. John goes to all of them. But not just town meetings, he goes to everything — historical society meetings, women's groups, environmental, business, everything! Just ask him, he never stops. On second thought, don't ask him. You don't want to hear it, because when he goes, he doesn't just sit there playing on his phone — he pays attention! He asks questions, gets answers, learns the issues. You won't get a synopsis, you're getting a full-blown thesis. He'll bore you to tears with the facts and figures, the whereas and whyfors.
You have to hand it to him: he shows up, he works hard, and he gets things done cooperatively with anyone willing to work together. And then he gives a really boring report.
John Strough deserves to be Queensbury supervisor.
