Well hooray for the FAA. A runway extension is not needed, something we all intuitively knew anyway. But a Strough Utopia still hangs in the balance, in which, he says, a runway extension will "attract new investment, create new business, and help keep our youth here." A runway extension will do all that. Amazing. More government will reduce taxes, sez he.
This is the kind of Democrat thinking that just doesn't wash in reality, which is also happening at the federal level. It's got to be further unnerving that your county supervisors voted in the majority for the runway extension to the extent they created a resolution for it! With no credibility, it's time for Strough to resign.
