Our “leader” wants to spend billions of dollars to build a wall. I believe that there are many more important things that could be done with the money.

Our infrastructure is rapidly degrading. Rebuilding our highway system would make our highways more efficient, safer and create jobs for many individuals. Thousands of people go to bed hungry. I believe that a dish of food is more important than a wall to them. Many people are homeless. Can’t we have more affordable housing and shelters? For a long time, the small farms have been disappearing. They are being squeezed out by bigger competitors or their land is more valuable for development. They need help.

I am sure that there are many more important things that we could spend our tax money on. Oh! The wondrous things we could do if we spent the money wisely.
