On Christmas Day, the Lake George community received a great gift from the Inn at Erlowest when they provided dinner to 140 diners, many of whom would have been alone all day. Caldwell Presbyterian Church volunteers have been serving Christmas dinner for about 19 years, but the Erlowest staff has made it possible to serve many more. In addition to the 140 dinners served, volunteers also delivered 16 meals to persons who are homebound.

Erlowest's example of Christmas caring was much appreciated. In addition, many thanks are extended to Hannaford, who donated 20 pies; the Lake George Baking Company, who contributed cupcakes; and to numerous volunteers from Caldwell Church, as well as a few from out of town. Three Lake George students took time from their families to play Christmas music.

Laurie and her staff from Erlowest, plus their relatives who donated their time, deserve the biggest thank you of all.
