From the farmers market to take a bite, the addition of new upscale restaurants to bars getting rid of the “I might get stabbed” ambiance we’ve all come to love, Glens Falls is actually beginning to make some headway. As everyone knows, everyone in their mid-20s is always correct, but I feel like I should establish some background about me and the type of person I am so you can understand my point of view, and then I’ll give my suggestions on how we can begin to make Glens Falls even better as a community.
I was educated locally and always excelled through all of my classes. My teachers began telling me that I should begin to consider the option of graduating early, as they felt I was somewhat of a prodigy (of course I would never say this about myself, but I do have an IQ of 147, which is in the 99.91 percentile), so I did. I then went to an Ivy League college and once again excelled through all of my classes, but dropped out after I had a falling-out with the dean. He once said to me, “You just might be the smartest person I’ve ever met, but the most stubborn as well.” I couldn’t disagree more. Anyways, I moved back home more motivated than ever, a passion I hadn't felt in my entire life. I began coding my own personal search engine that built on the outdated algorithms provided to us by Google. Personally I think they’re limiting what they can truly do in order to stay ahead of the status quo of the marketplace. We shouldn't accept mediocrity in our society. In conclusion, I think fiber internet would be a great upgrade to the area. Thanks for reading!
