I support Elise Stefanik to continue representing New York’s 21st Congressional District. As our representative, she understands the issues most important to the North Country. Elise works to protect Fort Drum, veterans and military families by delivering the largest pay increase for our troops in eight years while reforming the VA to get the care and benefits that they deserve. She worked to recover over $2.6 million in veteran benefits for constituents in NY-21.
Elise supports farmers and small businesses. She helped pass the Farm Bill, that includes broadband expansion and support for dairy and specialty crop farmers. Elise has fought against tax increases and onerous regulations on small businesses while supporting a Workforce Development Bill to promote North Country jobs.
Elise assists state and local elected officials to protect the Adirondack environment. She supports the Lake Champlain Basin Program, which ensures healthy, clean waterways in our district.
Elise has preserved access to health care. She supported a 10-year reauthorization of the Children’s Health Insurance Program to protect our children while leading the fight to fund Community Health Care Centers that serve people in our community.
Elise has fought to strengthen K-12 and higher education. She advocates for greater local control of schools while opposing Common Core. She has worked to increase access and flexibility for Pell Grants offering higher education and training.
In addition, Elise is transparent, acts with integrity and is amongst the top 7 percent bipartisan House of Representative members. She posts the votes she takes on her Facebook page and publishes her official schedule on her website. Unlike her opponent, when she tells voters she supports the Second Amendment, she means it. Elise’s votes always support North Country values and interest.
Please join me in voting for Elise on Nov. 6 to continue representing NY-21.
