I am writing this letter in support of Tatiana Coffinger for Hamilton County judge. I currently serve as the Appellate Division's attorney for the Child Liaison in Hamilton County, after having taken over the post when Roni Lawrence retired. I have an office in Wells and have represented individuals in criminal, family and surrogate court in this county. If elected, Tatiana will be a County Court, Family Court and Surrogate's Court judge, like Judge Feldstein. I met Tatiana when she began working for Judge Feldstein as his law clerk. I was immediately impressed with her breadth of knowledge in many areas of law. Like Judge Feldstein, she is fair, impartial and cares a great deal about every case that comes into court.
Many times, when people are involved in the court system, it is because they are in crisis. I firmly believe that Tatiana has the compassion, knowledge and desire to see that people in Hamilton County are treated fairly and with respect and dignity regardless of their circumstances, income or station in life. That's what anyone who finds themselves in the court system wants and deserves. I have practiced in front of many judges in this state and know a good judge when I meet them. Judge Feldstein was at the top of my list of distinguished judges. It was truly an honor and a pleasure to practice before him.
If she is elected in Hamilton County, Tatiana Coffinger will be a hard-working, knowledgeable and fair-minded judge for this county. I am happy to support Tatiana and hope that my letter is helpful to you as you make your decision for Hamilton County judge
