I read in The Post-Star on Thursday, April 11 the story about the sexual assault on the 43-year-old woman. It reminds me of the old man who was assaulted at twice her age. Age is never a factor in an assault. As was the woman, the old man also was defenseless and alone without anyone to prevent the assault and battery.
Stress erupts and they both, many times a day, think about what they went through. So with the lady, the old man, and many others in mind, please step up to the plate and help the person that is being bullied. It happens too often in schools, in the streets and in public places.
The foundation of a well-lived life starts with helping others. Wherever you are, it is your friends who make your world. God bless.
