WELLS, Vermont — A crash just over the state line from Granville critically injured a Vermont woman late Saturday.

Kellie M. Sykes, 39, of Wells, Vermont, was taken to Albany Medical Center after the 10:47 p.m. single-vehicle crash on Route 30, according to Vermont State Police.

Sykes was headed north when she lost control of a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the vehicle going off the road and rolling over several times.

Sykes was transported to a landing zone in Poultney for transportation to the hospital via helicopter. She was listed in critical condition early Sunday with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to police.
