SHAFTSBURY, Vermont -- A Whitehall man faces numerous charges after an incident in which he threatened another person and drove a vehicle at another, police said.
Conception Torres-Perez, 32, was charged in connection with an April 6 confrontation at Iron Kettle Motel in Shaftsbury, just east of the New York state line.
Vermont State Police said he drove a Dodge Charger sedan toward another vehicle, nearly causing a collision, then argued and threatened the occupants of the vehicle.
He fled the scene, but was later located and charged with four counts of reckless endangerment and single counts of negligent operation and disorderly conduct, according to police. Conception-Perez was released pending prosecution in Vermont Superior Court.
