CAMBRIDGE — A White Creek man who has been arrested twice on felony charges in recent months added some misdemeanors in recent days when he crashed a vehicle and left the crash scene, leaving an injured woman behind, police said.
Jacob M. Shortt, 29, was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, resisting arrest and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in connection with a Sept. 1 crash in Cambridge.
Police said no one was seriously hurt during the one-vehicle crash, but Shortt fled on foot. He was arrested Sept. 5, arraigned and sent to Washington County Jail for lack of bail.
Shortt was also arrested in June on felony gang assault charges for an attack at a White Creek home and was also charged with felony criminal mischief last December for damaging a vehicle in Eagle Bridge.
