NORTH CREEK — Seven people had to be evacuated from a gondola at Gore Mountain on Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 9:15 a.m. at the Northwoods Gondola. The lift came to a normal stop and there was an indication of a bolt misalignment on one of the towers, according to Jon Lundin, communications director for Gore and the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority.

Crews did a ropes evacuation, Lundin said.

There were no injuries and the lift was closed. It resumed normal operations at noon.
