FORT EDWARD — Three men have been indicted by a Washington County grand jury on charges that they sold narcotics in the Hudson Falls area.

All three were picked up Tuesday by police during multi-agency investigations, arraigned on indictments and sent to Washington County Jail for lack of bail.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, charged were:

  • Isaiah Thomas, 27, of Union Street, Hudson Falls. He faces three felony counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance for alleged sales of crack cocaine and the prescription drug Suboxone.
  • Michael D. Bentley, 27, of Main Street, Hudson Falls. He faces two felony counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance for alleged sales of prescription drugs.
  • Larry W. Sweet Jr., 39, of Bluebird Road, Moreau. He faces two felony counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance for alleged sales of Suboxone.

The cases were investigated by the sheriff's offices from Washington and Warren counties, Hudson Falls Police, Glens Falls Police and Washington County Probation Department.
