Scattered severe thunderstorms will be popping up throughout the region and into the evening and overnight hours.
Heavy downpours may cause localized flooding and strong wind gusts could result in downed power lines and trees. Small hail is also possible.
The storms will give way to plenty of sunshine on Wednesday with temperatures reaching the low 80s and comfortable temperatures bottoming out in the low 50s at night.
The sunshine will stick around Thursday and Friday with another chance of storms on Saturday as the humidity builds.
