HARTFORD — State Police arrested a Salem woman on felony charges Thursday for allegedly driving while intoxicated and possessing cocaine, authorities said.

Lisa A. Daigle, 44, was stopped on Blood Road in Hartford at about 9 p.m. because her tail light was out, according to Sgt. Luke Splittgerber.

Daigle allegedly had been consuming alcohol and failed a field sobriety test, and her driver's license had previously been suspended. After she was arrested, police found 0.80 grams of cocaine and related drug paraphernalia, according to Splittgerber.

Daigle was charged with felony counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, police said. She also was charged with misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
