The comment by Mike Wild that he was opposed because it might benefit another Queensbury at-large Supervisor points out that politics not only exists but has hurt Queensbury's representation for many years. Unlike just about any other political race you can name, candidates that are elected to represent us are expected to work with the same people they just ran against. Wild seems more interested in undercutting a rival that he will have to run against in a few months than in working for the betterment of the taxpayers that elected him. Glens Falls has multiple representatives as well but they run by ward and therefore do not compete for votes and Queensbury should do the same, or better yet move to a legislative form of government and leave the antiquated Board behind as so many other Counties in NY have done over the years.
Good ole boys. Worried someone will catch on to the years of mismanagement. Term limits!! President gets only two terms if re-elected. It should be exactly that for every other political seat.
Strough argues the positions set up by board Chairwoman Rachel Seeber are unnecessary and inject politics into the board...............
Oh no!!! Politics in Warren County? Say it ain't so, Mr Strough.
Yup, no politics here, maybe local politicians are all neutered upon taking office and only do the works that benefit the average citizens? Things like the IDA are just aberrations. Politics up here should only be driven by the incessant greed of the goodoleboys, fancy digs for their new jets, stupid, overpriced paving and building projects, dead end real estate deals, great new cars from Goodoleboy Auto Sales Inc, grants for civic goodoleboy center, spreader events for buddies in LG.
Hey, tax payers are clueless, why change now john.
There you go throwing stones again. Do you ever say anything positive about things happening in our area and people stepping up to try and make a change for the good?
Not a lot positive I see going on, I leave it to others to blow sunshine, feel free to take up the slack if you see any corruption, eeer great government leaders.

Nice job Chairwoman. It’s refreshing to see new leadership that respects the rule of law. Keep up the great work.
