Thirteen men, including a resident of Queensbury, were arrested for attempting to have sexual relations with a child following a three-day investigation in May, State Police announced Monday.

Gregg Townsend, 26, of Queensbury, is charged with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and second-degree attempted rape.

He is among 12 other men arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a child under 15.

Police said the suspects are not believed to be connected.

All of them were arraigned in the town of Florida Court and sent to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond, according to a news release.
