ARGYLE — A Whitehall man is facing a felony charge for allegedly damaging a car in the Argyle Central School parking lot.
Kevin W. Printy, 41, of Truthville Road, is accused of scratching a car on Jan. 20 while it was parked in the lot, according to a news release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
A woman called the Sheriff’s Office to investigate scratch marks on the car, according to police. The office was able to obtain video from the school’s surveillance cameras, which captured the incident and helped identify the suspect.
Police said Printy is acquainted with the owner of the car and the Sheriff’s Office does not believe this was a random act. Printy allegedly caused more than $1,500 worth of damage.
Printy was charged with felony second-degree criminal mischief and was being arraigned on Monday.
