WILTON — The president of a local recycling company has been arrested for allegedly shorting about $150,000 owed to Stewart’s Corporate for returnable cardboard products.
Power Recycling President Sam Donadio, 65, of Broadalbin, allegedly directed that Stewart’s be paid a reduced amount for the returned materials over a multiple year period, according to a news release from State Police.
Donadio was charged with felony second-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Malta Town Court on Thursday.
