QUEENSBURY — A Queensbury woman was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after she crashed into a utility pole early Saturday, police said.

No injuries were reported in the 3:45 a.m. collision on Ridge Road, near Boulderwood Drive, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Police determined the driver, Sherri L. Sherman, 44, was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent threshold for intoxicated, the Sheriff's Office said in a new release.

Sherman was charged with the misdemeanor aggravated DWI count and released, pending prosecution in Queensbury Town Court.

It was unclear whether the crash caused any power outages in the area.

Sheriff's Patrol Officer S.T. Smith handled the case.
