QUEENSBURY — A Glens Falls man who is in jail for injuring a police officer who was arresting him for a fight with a woman was arrested again this week for allegedly violating an order of protection from jail, police said.
Joseph R. Fylipek, 37, was charged with aggravated family offense, a felony, and misdemeanor criminal contempt for allegedly calling a woman from Warren County Jail in violation of a no-contact protective order, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Fylipek was arraigned and returned to jail.
He was initially jailed in June after being charged with numerous felonies and misdemeanors for a fight at a home that ended when a police officer suffered an arm injury when arresting him.
Sheriff's Investigator Jason Palmer handled the case.
