MOREAU — A Gansevoort man allegedly drove drunk and while in possession of drugs.

Robert L. Giroux, 49, was stopped on the Northbound ramp of Exit 17 at about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to the New York State police public information website.

Giroux was charged with felony counts of operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or greater and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and a violation of having a controlled substance not in its original container.
