GLENS FALLS — A Glens Falls man who police said violated an order of protection by texting a death threat to a woman was charged with a felony and jailed Friday.

Shawn M. Mabb, 42, of New Street, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and misdemeanor aggravated harassment after an investigation by Glens Falls Police, records show.

Mabb was arraigned in Glens Falls City Court and sent to Warren County Jail for lack of bail.

Glens Falls Police Officer Chris Perilli made the arrest.
