GLENS FALLS — A Glens Falls man was jailed Sunday after he allegedly choked a woman to the point that she was unconscious, according to police.
Trevor D. Rhodes, 22, was charged with second-degree strangulation, a felony, and misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment for an incident at a home in Village Green Apartments on Sunday morning, according to Glens Falls Police.
Police said the victim, a woman with whom Rhodes is acquainted, lost consciousness briefly and suffered slight injuries to her neck when she was choked.
Rhodes was found later Sunday at The Messenger House bar on South Street and arrested without incident. He was being held, pending arraignment, as of Monday morning.
