QUEENSBURY — An 89-year-old woman was injured Monday afternoon after she was hit by a pickup truck as she walked along Foster Avenue, police said.
Dena Stephenson, of Queensbury, was taken to Glens Falls Hospital after the 2:55 p.m. collision near Angel Lane, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office. Her head and leg injuries were not initially considered life-threatening.
Family members reported that Stephenson was released from the hospital on Monday and was feeling sore but generally well.
The driver who police said hit her, Clara Rudnick, 93, was not hurt but was ticketed for failure to exercise due care to a pedestrian, police said.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Queensbury Central firefighters and West Glens Falls Rescue Squad personnel.
