More than 50 artisan vendors were at the Adirondack Christkindmarkt in Lake George on Friday night. Outdoor fires and multi-colored holiday lights complemented three tents and a traditional Scandinavian tepee for children's activities. Some tents are filled with hand-created items, foods and wines, others are there for entertainment and culinary treats.
And the unexpected snow dusted the weekend holiday market in winter magic.
“We are extremely grateful for the incredible collaborative efforts made by Warren County, the town and village of Lake George and their crews to enable us to host our event in Charles R. Wood Park this weekend,” said founders and organizers, Kristen Hanifin and Scott Hayden. “Without their help, we would not be able to hold this event and the crews are all to be commended for clearing the snow in record time.”
The holiday mart runs through Sunday.
