Fredonia names fall Dean’s List

FREDONIA — State University of New York at Fredonia President Virginia S. Horvath announced that approximately 1,704 students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. Dean’s List students have earned a grade point average of at least 3.30 or higher for that semester out of a possible 4.0, while carrying a full-time minimum course load of at least 12 credit hours. PITTSFORD — Sarah O’Brien of Queensbury has been named to the fall 2018 Dean’s List at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List at St. John Fisher College, a student must have attained at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester. O’Brien, daughter of John and Karen O’Brien of Queensbury, is a senior nursing major.

The Dean’s List recognizes those students with a full-time course load who have achieved outstanding scholarship with a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the academic term. Lafay is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Ripley makes list at Binghamton

BINGHAMTON — Amanda Ripley of Queensbury has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester at Binghamton University. To make the Dean’s List, a student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Ripley, child of Mark and Jackie Ripley, is an actuarial science major.

Nolin makes list at Houghton

College

HOUGHTON — Brooke Nolin of Queensbury has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester at Houghton College. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must maintain full-time status and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.749 for the semester. Nolin is a graduate of Lake George High School.
