HARTFORD — About 4,000 customers lost power in Washington County late Friday afternoon after a tree took down a power line off of Route 196.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office dispatch the incident occurred at about 3:45 p.m.
The power outages ranged from east of Fort Ann down to South Argyle.
According to the National Grid outage map 3,916 customers lost power for a couple hours.
Power was restored at about 5:45 p.m.
