QUEENSBURY — A New York City man who sold crack in Glens Falls earlier this year is headed to state prison.

Alfred G. Johnson, 43, pleaded guilty in September to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, for a crack cocaine sale during a police investigation.

Warren County Judge John Hall sentenced him to 3 years in state prison and 2 years on parole.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Enforcement Unit investigated the case, assisted by the Glens Falls Police Department and Washington County Sheriff's Office.
