A man from Vermont was arrested this week for allegedly making phone threats to shoot "everyone" at the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, police said.
Michael P. Mills, 32, of Cavendish, was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony, for an Oct. 3 phone call to the Sheriff's Office in Milton, according to police.
He at first threatened to shoot a corrections sheriff, then broadened his threats to "shoot up everyone," the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Mills had previously spent time in the Saratoga County Jail but it was unclear what in particular angered him.
Mills was arrested by police in Vermont, and turned over to the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday. He was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County Jail for lack of bail.
