FORT EDWARD — A Hudson Falls man is headed to state prison after his guilty plea to a felony for illegal sales of prescription drugs.
Michael D. Bentley, 27, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance in connection his arrest last October during a multi-agency drug investigation. He was one of three people arrested during the sweep that targeted those who sold drugs in the Hudson Falls area.
Bentley is being held in Washington County Jail pending sentencing Feb. 1 by Washington County Judge Kelly McKeighan. He faces a prison sentence of 1.5 years and 1 year on parole as part of a plea deal.
