MOREAU — A Hudson Falls man has been charged with felony assault for allegedly injuring another person in the town of Moreau on Thursday, police said.
Kade D. LaPointe, 20, was arrested after an investigation by State Police into a complaint that a person was hurt with an unidentified weapon, the State Police public information website showed.
LaPointe was charged with second-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon, arraigned and released on bail, the website showed. Police did not provide any additional information.
The arrest comes after he served a five-month jail term for a 2017 arrest in Washington County for a criminal sexual act arrest that led to a conviction for endangering the welfare of a child.
