BALLSTON SPA — A Glens Falls man who violated an order of protection on numerous occasions earlier this year has been sentenced to a year in Saratoga County Jail.
Terrance L. Seymour, 31, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal contempt for being with a woman who has an order of protection against him when police arrested him on drug charges in March.
It was unclear whether the plea satisfied the felony drug charge that was filed against him as well.
He was arrested on the same charge in June when he called the protected party from jail, according to police.
Seymour, who has a long history of domestic violence-related arrests, will have to serve at least 8 months of the jail term.
