QUEENSBURY — A Glens Falls man was charged with a felony and issued numerous traffic tickets after a crash early Saturday on Pine Street, according to police.

Kyle W. Elder, 26, veered off Pine Street and hit a fence and utility pole around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, then left the scene before police arrived, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.

Elder turned himself in later Saturday, and was found to have been driving with a suspended or revoked license, police said. That led to a felony charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unsafe lane charge, according to police.

He was arraigned and sent to Warren County Jail for lack of bail.

Sheriff's patrol officers Brittany Kolomiets and R.C. Saunders handled the case.
